Haskamot

Rabbi Shmuel Yaakov Weinberg, Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Israel

Rabbi Fishel Mael, one of our illustrious students, brought before me an important book on the subject of the twelve tribes of Israel. I found that Hashem has granted him success in his in-depth study of the views of Chazal and later sefarim. He explains how each Shevet has a unique approach in the service of Hashem, and clarifies the mission and role of each Shevet.

Therefore I declare it to be worthwhile and appropriate to publish this book.  I am certain that these appealing and clever writings will provide pleasure to those who study them.  They will also certainly inspire those who study these topics, and will lead to greater attention to and striving in this realm of Torah.

Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky, Rosh Yeshiva of the Yeshiva of Philadelphia

I am grateful for having received a portion of Rabbi Fsishel Mael’s essays.  I learned much and derived much pleasure from them, and have a strong desire to receive the rest.

It is apparent that Rabbi Fishel Mael expended great effort to tie together many deep and diverse subjects, and went to great depths to extract pearls of wisdom, comprehensive idea that he has already presented in public.

Unquestionably this book should be published, and I am certain it will be useful to those who thirst for the word of Hashem. Whoever studies it will learn and gain much from both the substance and the source material.

Rabbi Dovid Kohn, Rav of Cong. G'vul Yaavetz, Brooklyn, NY

Although I have not met the author personally, after having read a number of essays from his book Shivtei Yisrael, I have a powerful desire to get to know him.

Rabbi Fishel Mael has merited to write a fundamental book, organized and coherent, full of deep thoughts which shed light on numerous areas of Torah study.  The persistent effort of many years is evident. There is no doubt that this will prove to be a practical and useful book for those who study and delve into topics of Hashkafa.
